It's a year old. This was back when people thought they could make money off of the internet. B2B and all that. I have a lot of respect for what the BMW Central/Roadfly organization has been attempting for the past few years. It's better than most other car-related web communities, indeed better than most web communitites overall, and is a good example of the evolution of the web.

The truth is guys like Alan Reilly (independent, for-the-love) are the ones responsible for the success of bimmer.org-->roadfly, and guys like Charlie (capture all those eyeballs!) are responsible for ruining it. Theres that other set of boardfly-rebellion BMW boards that the e34 guys started (i thihk its www.bimmernut.org) that was an AMAZING parallel to what happened independently here with the '02 side.

Its another thing you'd find by searching for charlie's name on google. All these rebellions happened for a reason: Charlie Romero and his lame ambitions. VIVA LA REVOLUCION!
