WTB Good 4-spd Tranny for '74 in NC

Hey all,

I'm looking for a good, solid and healthily functioning 4-spd for my '74 2002. My 2nd gear synchros have almost kicked the bucket and I need to make a switch soon. Anybody have a good used tranny sitting around?

I have a couple of used four speeds...one from a 72 non-Tii and a second from a 72 Tii.

I drove the non-Tii 4 speed for about 1,000 miles without any issues at all. The Tii 4 speed came out of a wreck that I bought and the PO said the tranny was very good...but I never drove the car and I have no personal experience with it.

I live in North GA...so if you have any interest, I'll be happy to put one of them on you. The Tii four speed is ready to go now, the non Tii that I personally used will be ready to sell in about two months.

Let me know if you have any interest, and we'll come up with a fair price.

where are you in NC? I have a 4-speed in good working condition. I am in Durham, but tranny is in Roxboro, and needs to be picked up.
