offset is 4 3/4" mounted on a 02' before? not by me but was sold to me from a 02' seller who had used them (from what he said).

Assuming that the wheels are 5-1/2" x 13" (and the backspace is as shown), the offset is approx. 35mm, so these wheels will work well on any 2002.

Can you tell me how you calculated that please? I need to do this for some of my wheels.

width of the wheel AT THE TIRE BEAD (not the outer edge) is 5.5

5.5/2 = the center of the wheel, or "0" offset = 2.75in

picture measures the outer edge of the wheel to the mounting face..this is what is normally called "backspace" and is how most american wheels are quoted.

so to convert...if the "0" offset point is 2.75 in from the bead mounting point, and the (for the sake of argument) the distance from the mounting face to the bead edge is 4.75 in, then the offset = 4.75 - 2.75 = 2.0 inches

2 inches x 25.4 mm per inch = 51mm offset

since the real offset measuring point is the outer tire bead mounting point and not the outside edge of the wheel, need to subtract the width of the metal edge...maybe 8-10 mm...so you get offset of about 42mm.

these wheels look like they were designed for a FWD car with a lot of offset. may not work on an 02 without spacers.

someone should do math check on this....;-)
