Someone asked Schnitzer Mark if he could do a mold of his Schnitzer head. Not sure what happened from that thread. It would be neat and a great engineering triumph but I can only imagine the machining that would be required after casting, all the other parts for the valve train that are needed, front covers, all of which probably would need to be machined also.

Don't get me wrong but that would cool for lots of us. Specially the racers out there. But like Harv's tag line speed costs money. How fast you wanna go?

I do like the Oldguy's idea of a Ford 2.3L Head (1/2 of a 4.6L motor). From his early experimentations, everything seems much cheaper for that conversion with potentially great HP gains and reliability with off the shelf parts.

BTW, Oldguy, any progress?
