I just finished swapping in a new set of front seats. I picked up a set of 3A Sport Seats locally on eBay for $100. They were used, but never installed. They are the kind of thing you would find at PepBoys. They seem like a nice strong seat, but weigh about the same as the stock seat, so there is no weight savings.

Here is a picture of the final results. I wrote in detail about the entire swap in my blog at http://donarum.com/cars/index.php?entry=entry080108-122532

Thanks a lot to the guys who put together the seat FAQ. It was a huge help.[/url]

Wow, it's been years since I posted an update.

There has been some good progress this spring. The old school rear bumper is on. There are a lot of holes to weld up, but that will come later.

Last week I finished the vented front brake rotor swap with a kit from Dave Varco http://www.2002parts.com/.

And finally added the Rota wheels (that have been in boxes for years) with a set of 195-50-15 Yokohama S-Drives.
