New Car - via the family

My Dad is 82 now, and is in pretty good health in general, but his knees are very arthritic at this point.  He asked me to help him sell his ‘97 Mustang GT Convertible.  He can’t really drive it anymore; it’s too low, and it is a manual.

I figured I would buy it from him, and my wife and I could go to a Radwood in it, and maybe I’d take it on some muscle car type events.  I don’t think I’ll keep it for long; maybe a year or two.  It’s not really my thing, but it is in really good condition, so what the heck?

My Dad bought it new in ‘97; I think he ordered it.  It has every option, I think.  It drives a lot different from our Bimmers, but is charming in its own way.  It’s a 5 speed, and has 40k miles on it.

I’ve been wanted a convertible for years, because here in Cincinnati, you have at least 3 or 4 perfect days for a convertible per year, LOL.  So I ended up with one, just in a very unexpected way.

My little sister is going to be mad.
