Getrag 245 O/D 5-Speed for sale in San Diego, CA. Complete with shift platform, linkage, lever, driveshaft, T/O bearing and release arm. 

 

I purchased last year as part of a late E21 engine + trans combo from a car undergoing a S50 & M3 5-speed swap. That owner kept good care of his E21, he stated it drove great from Oakland to Long Beach where it remained for 8 months prior to removal; total mileage ~ 160k. I put the motor in my 02 after swapping oil pan + pump pickup and it runs well, true to stated mileage.

 

No need for this as spare at the moment - I'd rather it see good use. I just tested the tranny with a 1/2" drill on the input and it shifts great; input shaft is also free from excessive slop.

 

Local pickup preferred, but could consider shipping if needed. Obviously I'd section the driveshaft if that's the case and only send the front portion.
