Description:

Ceylon metallic 1973 2002tii, 2762669, with black velour Euro tii seats. Good solid driver, original engine, 4-speed, lowered springs, Konis, 14" NK wheels. Really dialed-in driver with good interior, needs paint or use as is as patinaed driver.  Chassis solid, some local rust spots and spare tire well is rusted. No rust in floors or suspension attachments. Some Ceylon paint is original, much has been repainted. Charming color. Hit in rear some years ago, fixed with new rear panel and bumper, looks fine. Resulted in Salvage title, alas. Good brakes, new front pads, just bled, new MC.

Engine rebuilt by me last year, .020" over 10:1 Euro tii pistons, Norman Racing head, Ireland cam. Cranks and rods magged, 0/0 crank, new bearings, chains, guides, rockers, shafts. Runs like stink, good oil pressure, good water temp, compressions all 180. Original tii injection, starts hot or cold on the button. 4-speed trans is good, new shift bushings and mounts. New donut and front bushing in driveshaft. 3.56 non-LS diff from E21. New clutch and MC, new exhaust.

14" Neue Klasse wheels and hubcaps. 195/60-14 tires a couple years old. Short springs, Koni shocks, new sway bar mounts front and back, new diff mounts. New brake MC and hoses, new front pads; strong brakes. Great steering, good box with fresh oil. Very good driver, hangs on well but has light precise steering.

Interior good. Euro tii black velour front seats, rear seat done to match. New Esty carpet kit. Good headliner, good door panels except speaker hole in R door. Non-tii dash but I have the clock, and have two more dashes, one a tii dash. Everything works except heater fan; heater puts out heat. Gauges work. Miles, unsure, couple hundred thousand. Good headliner, glass OK with one small crack in R side windshield.

Good tii gas tank with all new fuel lines and filter. Spare tire well rusted. Inside trunk floor not a beauty but it works. Rear panel new, fits well, replacement trunklid from later car.

Many extra parts. Extra tii block that had been in the car, non-tii block, a couple heads, many engine parts, various tii-specific pieces. Big pile of receipts from me and previous owner. I bought car off from here (Santa Clara) in late 2019, worked through it mechanically, enjoyed it. Drive it home; I've put a couple thousand miles on it, no issues.

$13,900 OBO depending on parts. A superb driver. Ceylon metallic is a great, unusual color.  Salvage title in my name, ready to go, insured.
