Although 1975-76 2002 seats share frames and most details with early e21 seats, this pair wears e21 seat covers. So they probably started life in an e21.

 

The first photo below shows another e21 seat, with its four large and three tiny pleats. The second photo shows a 1975-76 2002 seat, with six equal-width pleats. Same basic seat, slightly different seat covers.
