My 74' build

Getting a late start to this build thread that was started at the end of December 2018. I will post a bunch of items now to catch up, and then it will possibly slow down a little (hopefully not to much). I am hoping to have it on the road this summer.

Rust repair, panel replacement. Quite a few more spots had to be patched, but I didn't get pictures of all of them. These were the worst. Got pretty lucky, not to many surprises.

After lots more sanding and grinding, Epoxy coating.

Donor, and mock up. M42 with 72,000 miles. It was sad to tear apart that little E36, fun little guy to drive for a couple of weeks. It loves to rev. Wanted to make sure the the Getrag 250 could fit in the tunnel, I haven't really seen anyone document this trans in an 02. It's a go.

Couldn't resist. It's literally sitting on the frame. the wheels and tires were slid in for the pic.

Cleaning and coating the underside. Boxed in the rear sub frame mounts. I will have to look for the finished product photos, it turned out awesome, looks like brand new. Used the Eastwood frame paint on it, I would absolutely recommend it.

Body work, sand, primer, repeat, repeat, repeat. Real close to paint ready now, just a couple little spots to perfect. Very happr with how flat it is.
