Can anyone tell me why my fuel gauge bounces all over the place? also dash lights quit on me? I assume bad ground. Thanks

is wearing at the point you keep gas most of the time. I was told to remove it from the tank, clean it, and squeeze the wires tighter at the sender unit coils to make better contact.

if it was just the gas gauge it might be a sending unit problem, but there's a known failure point in the ground to the gas and temp gauges that causes intermittent operation in either or both.

Fixes have been discussed in multiple post threads in the past....
