I'm going to look at what is supposedly an '82 323i that is offered to me for $2000 OBO. I once drove one of these (a gray market version here in CA.)when it was new, and it was wonderful. Also drove a Schnitzer turbo version which was the ultimate. Anyway, is this a fair price for a good condition high mileage example and will I be able to reg. it in CA.? (it came from Oregon) I'm told the gas filler is a glitch. That's easy to replace, but don't know about smog issues. Any helpful info is greatly appreciated.
