Wow, Liked your story. Nice little break from work. Did ya at least happen to grab a Philly Cheese steak? or maybe some TastyCakes for the ride?

When I found my '75 it was 700 miles from home, I Hitched a ride down, got into my new (old) car of which I knew nothing about, proceeded to drive from Charlotte NC to Philly PA. Watchin those poorly grounded instrument gauges wander every 5 minutes scared the hell outa me every 5 minutes for 10 hours.

Congrats on your new acquisition.

I had to be a man on a mission. Glad I was, too, or I'd still be trying to get that stupid piece of GM home.

Bonus: The p.o. did give me a 6 pack of Philly's finest local porter. Don't remember the name, though. Saving that for New Year's Eve.
