Two toned 02's

Looking for pictures of two toned 02's (resprays of course) as I'm pondering a complete color change from Sahara

My advice is to stick to original color at all possible,

but if you really want to go two tone, break it where

you can go back to single tone if you get tired of it.

I hope to paint it so I can go back to one solid color at any point. I was thinking white with a light/baby blue on hood/trunk lid and above the chrome trim surrounding the two.. or perhaps verona red with black in a similar fashion...

Ther was a picture a while ago of a chamonix car with jadegrun hood, upper doors and trunk that was pretty sharp IMHO, or maybe with a atlantik top would be cool too.....Marty....

check archives for trent tilton sahara 71 and you may find pics of a early 71 trimmed car, sahara, with Black trunk/hood, etc. looked nice as i recal. called it black and tan, like the beer mix. that blue with white, though, is very nice, as is the malaga with black. good luck- hard choice.

BTW- That picture (you posted a while back?!) was the reason I started contemplating a two tone scheme

They are nice race wheels. But the finish is obviously not at par with more expensive wheels.

years ago. I think it was sahara w/ a burgundy color

between the knee and waist moldings. It went

around the whole car, it looked pretty cool. I think

the car was sold and someone was driving it

around w/ a replacement nose of a different color.

Is that car still around?

If shiny is the correct word. It certainly isn't high-gloss, could
