318 distributor in 2002

What parts do I need from a 318 to make the

electronic ignition work in a 2002 with a 32/36

carb?

You need at first to change the gear because the distributor on a 318 rotates counter clockwise.

You need the ignitor module with the wiring, and of course, the distributor itself.

Better the go with a 320i module, less wiring.

If the distributor has a mechanical advance mechanism, it won't work right if you change the distributor drive direction. As the RPM goes up, the distributor will retard, rather than advance, the timing.

and i prefer the 318 electronic module as it is only four wires to hook up (and i couldnt get the 320i module to work without the fuel computer hooked up to it).
