been so slow that it's often easier to just ask and risk a few kittens,

Maybe it's possible to just use Google to search the FAQ... I've never

tried. It works well for a lot of websites though.

I replaced mine with small, 8W Halogen bulbs. I was worried about heat, but after using them for a couple months, I removed the cluster and see no signs that they are a problem. The light is much crisper, brighter white than before. These bulbs (can't remember the model #) have the same type of bayonnet base as the factory units, and snugly fit into the dash light holders.
