what keeps fuel from backing out the plungers and inside the

looking at a schematic and some other literature I

see the plungers inside a small cylinder with

passages, but there is no seals or anything to

prevent the fuel to just "fall" inside the pump where

the cone and the cam are located. I know that the

fit is tight but 500 psi hydraulic pressure is hard to

keep from leaking, what is the secret here?

I don't know for certain about Kfish, but Alfa SPICA injection pumps are similar, and the fit of the pump piston in the cylinder is the seal. It's really, really close tolerance.

When the Alfa ones wear and leak, your crankcase smells like gas because the pump uses the engine oil supply also.

Is the k-fish the same?
