so I thought my timing chain was dying. After all, 34 years is a long time to go spinning 'round, especially with 10+ track days a year.

But then I had a mess of ignition trouble (some of it my own doing) and changed distributors- guess what? The rattle's gone! It took me a few days to realize what had happened... so I need to pull the darn thing apart to see what was going on. Damn, I could have flogged a few MORE days out of that motor this year!

Anyone else have this happen?
