...2002 ownership is a legalized drug. I can't seem to avoid the addiction.

I saw an advertisement on bimmers.com/02 for a 1973 2002 in Huntington Beach for $1K. I looked at the pictures and recognized the car -- I inspected it once before... a long time ago.

So, I added another 02 to the stable today.

The seller did put some work into the car, but it needs a few more things. Here are some symptoms:

- brakes are mushy

- shift linkage is loose

- the replacement differential from 2002AD or something in the driveline is noisy

- needs shocks

- idle is too high (carb adjustment?)

Otherwise, a pretty solid car.

The car was hit on the driver's side tail, but I already knew this (the owner didn't know it).

I haven't looked at it closely since the seller dropped it off (BTW, the seller is a great guy).
