although it'll set the 'lantik car back a bit, I went ahead and ordered my saw. I decided to make the plunge and opt for the cabinet saw instead of the contractor size saw. I've never been dissapointed down the road spending a little more on a tool, but I've been dissapointed many times spending too little. Link is for the saw I'm getting. Now I just need 4 or 8 friends to help me get the gd thing off my truck when it gets here.... : )

Big thanks to all who have offered advise/help. I'll try to keep all my fingers for wrenchin.
