I don't think anyone gets a vanity plate, until they've thought of something that you can get within the couple of seconds that you're cruisin' by, unless they wear head gear... but I may be wrong, and then, it wouldn't matter because their plate wouldn't mean anything to anybody except themselves, and the "...right" men.

After CA ran out of 3 letter/3 number combinations

(e.g. AAA-111) the added a number in front of the letters (1-AAA-111). When they went thru those, they started with 2-AAA-111, etc. Now they're up to a "3" prefix. Like most states, they won't issue a vanity plate that's even close to regular issue plate numbers.
