The driver side plate will need to be notched in order to clear the brake fluid reservoir mount. Not everyone has spacers on top of their strut. Just my 02 cents.

Anyway I find the shifter bushings interesting. How do they compare to a bronze bushing? Where do I send my money for those bushings?

Ryan & Bret, please do feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. There is no need to notch the mounting plates of the bar to clear brake fluid reservoir mounting points.

The bar only needs the spacers on my tii in order to gain a bit more clearance on the tii plenum. It will fit a 1600/2002 with sidedrafts without any problems. It will also fit downdrafts as long as you are not using the stock air cleaner housing.

Do you know if this will clear an M20? I need a strut brace in there and yours is beautiful, I just want to know if it will fit before I buy one. Thanks in advance!

anyone have a pic of mine? Looks like that one but mine the plates were fabricated.

on my bar, all I had to do was add a little extra angle by bending the bar a bit to clear the intake. I will see if I can post one in the next few days.

Not sure about comparison to brass bushings. But if you want to get the delrin set you can either send me a check or order from the store via paypal.

Here is an Ireland stainless steel brace with aluminum camber plates. You can see from the picture how the upper plate needs to be notched. Not much though. Installing the spacer on top might not be to everyone's taste. And camber plates do not have long studs to accomodate a spacer. Anyway, notching the plate is not too difficult, but could be an annoyance to some.
