320i springs same as 02 springs?

wanting to lower my car, not wanting to mess with the springs i have. plenty of 320i's at the picknpull, wondering if springs are compatible so i can cut a set. thx dudes.

If you have a 73 or later '02 with stock springs, the springs from a 72 or earlier car are about an inch shorter (bumper height requirements changed for the '73 model year)--and this measurement is independent of the aluminum spacers installed on the fronts of all US models. You can also install thinner rear spring mounts (US cars used the thickest available).
