Guest Anonymous November 15, 2003 Here is a letter I just sent to Bavarian Autosport: I just received my sunroof cables for my '71 BMW 2002. Was anxious to install them. Got it all put back together, and to my dismay, both ends popped off the cable at the plastic ends. No problem except that I had to completely disassemble the sunroof and start looking for the end caps. Luckily, I found them and was able to reattach and crimp them GOOD and TIGHT. You might alert your manufacturer of this problem or check them yourself before you cause someone else a very annoying problem with NEW parts. They aren't supposed to do this on a $62.95 part. Guest Anonymous November 15, 2003 ....as I just tweeked/lubed, aligned, my sunroof the day before the Arkansas drive. It was tricky. I would have gone postal if the cable ends fell off. I used my existing cables which were in decent shape, but they seem fragile to me.
