SO Ive noticed this group is good at locating old piles of crap. I am looking for a 1947-1953 chevy Pick-up. I dont car how it looks, all I want is the cab, glass, and bed. Does anyone know of good sorces to check for such a project? Ive checked nickle ads, local papers, and Craigslist. If anyone else has any ideas could you please pass them on?

Thanks

But it's in Ventura, Ca....I'm sure over time and alot of looking you could find a nice dry one in Eastern Oregon, I remember seeing alot of old iron up that way a few yrs back. Old trucks are great I am partial to dodge's and international's from late thirties to late fourties. Good luck on your hunt!

he had it on ebay last year and dont know if it sold. i drive it: fun, old work truck, but no rust and all the cool stuff. i will ask him if he still has it. is that too far, and too much truck for what you want. it is a runner- not a pile of parts.
