There is huge difference between handlaid mat and shot chopped glass. Thier molding on several of their products are very marginal too. Maybe some of them are good.

I have a set of the box flares. They were not intended for street use. It is chop fiberglass and there are no provisions for either the gas cap or front blinkers.

A buddy just got his e30 widebody (m3 knockoff) kit from Korman and he is very disappointed! The “kit” was very rough and all the detail was missing in the front fenders. Things like the headlight returns were missing, the strip for the hood gasket was omitted and the door area returns were very shotty. Looks like everything was trimmed/cut out with a pair of gardening sheers. Pretty crappy for the $$. Kormans response to his inquire about quality was "these are intended for race applications only". So if you are looking for something for street that is expected to look good and don’t want to spend a ton of time fixing these to be presentable, look elsewhere.

I ordered Kormans box flares, but they ended up being 6" wide and very thin. These were more for a GT car.

Fortunately I was able to exchange them locally for some Z-products flares. About 3" wide and much heavier construction.

Lots of work to install, but a very pleasing finished car.

He was wanting to build a GT car and got the street flares by mistake. Just by chance we were at an autocross together and started talking flares and the trade soon followed. That was probably my one chance with dumb luck.

Check w/ the PNW group to see if Z-products are still in business. Their flares were good, although we did modify them for short point bumpers and removed the gas cap fitting. Plenty strong for street use.
