koni shocks/H&R springs

I have recently upgraded to H&R springs on my

1975 2002. I have KYB shocks and have been

experiencing my front shocks bottoming out when

cornering hard. I was wondering if I were to

upgrade to koni sport shocks would that eliminate

this problem? If not, what should I do?

The shocks are too long for the springs. This is why Bilstein Sports were developed.

if so, they will bottom. Dep. on how much lower your springs sit (like more than an inch), you should go to shorter struts also.

The Koni's are usually considered a much better strut/shock than the KYB's.

I like the set up. Tires 195-60-14. No rubbing no noises. Car handles good. The Sport Koni's are set up on the soft side.
