M3, 528, etc.

Have heard nothing about wiring changes. I have an M3 starter here that I have not yet installed and the wiring connections appear to look the same.

The big cable that goes to the battery and a smaller wire that connects to the starter solenoid. That's the wire that is energized when you turn the key to "start." Any other wires must have a function other than actually working the starter motor...
