Why, there's hundreds of thousands of residents

that hold views probably, pretty darned similar to you, Kris.

...and of course, some poor family which has lost their home and possessions can't be held responsible for any sort of "circus" their state may or may not be.

Plus, if the state goes up in flames....that's a whole lot of 02's that would be gone. In fact with 1,600 homes gone I would be willing to bet some nice BMW"s have gone up with them.

In fact, if you have 15 minutes to get out of your home with everything you can haul off, I'm willing to be you are taking out the minivan, station wagon and any 02 might well get left behind.

This is grim.....GRIM...and I have nothing but sadness and compassion for the people of the State of California. Even if you don't care about the government or the people, how about the ecosystem and the temporary damage to both flora and fauna?

All told I think I'll risk our midwest tornados and east coast hurricanes over fires and earthquakes in CA... Stay safe everyone and don't do anything stupid that puts your life at risk. "Stuff" can be replaced...even 2002s.

going to adversly affect all of us in the state: this fire is going to cost zillions. Too bad thestate has such beautiful beqaches. coastline, mountainous areas, and desert. Diverse as it comes: but along with that beauty comes the diversity of the population's ideas and the wacko legislation, etc.. That is hard for me to live with.

I am sorry if I triggered any angst from anyone, but that was far from my intention. Obviously, mentionning Arnie was very tongue in chick as it was the highlight of the Californian elections. Without him, the world world would not even known there was an election.

By electing Arnie, the majority of Californians who voted for him have opened wide the door of hilarity. But do not worry it could have been worst, as several years ago, a pornstar was elected as deputy in Italy. She was called the Ciciolina. It started a certain interest in Italian politic from the male population... During Desert Storm she even offered herself to Saddam Hussein in exchange for world peace. Maybe Cindy Lee should have tried to do the same 6 months ago before the invasion?

I'd take the extra 30 seconds and pack the 02 becuase I know I could make up that time on the drive out.

It's always fun to watch people watching you unload an 02. It's kinda like the circus clowns piling out of the little car.
