72 auto vibration

My 72 auto vibates when I start out in the morning for a short distance. If I have my hand on the shifter it is really noticeable when I declerate. It seems to go away after I'm out of the driveway and get up to speed. Any ideas what my problem could be?

i dont know much about the auto tranny. . . but check the usual culprits. . . the driveshaft guibo and center bearing, and also inspect the body anywhere it comes close to the exhaust system, it may be rubbing/banging - look for shiney patches
