Sniff sniff. Drove my 2002 to winter storage

First off, I had a very hard time driving her into the garage as she could not pass the bump at the entry. The car is way too low. I had to use a few pieces of wood and to lift the front end with a floorjack. On the way out in the spring, I will raise the coil-overs by at least 5 inches.

Anyway I am still happy for my brave little race warrior. She is parked between my friend Pierre's pristine 1973 2002, and my red 1989 e30 M3.

I managed to take my 533i out for the winter and will store my Hartge H23 in a month. The 533i needs to have a front left bearing changed as well as a front end alignement and possibly a new guibo... Not bad for a car that I paid $2500 5 years ago.

Do I hate winters...

You can fix all those little problems that developed during the summer and install all the parts you collected during the summer. Mine is getting a new starter motor, 9.5:1 pistons, 75% 3.9 LSD, etc.etc. Can't wait to finish the yard work so I can get into the garage.
