window trim is nasty

After getting my 73Tii painted it is an injustice to put all of that cloudy trim back on. Is there any tips on bringing that trim thats around the windows back close to its original luster. Buying new is a last option but not out of the question

It may be clear-coated, I can't remember. If it is there's not much you can do, or at least not worth doing. I know the trim on the CS's are clear-coated.

wire from Home depot. Cost about 4 bucks per window.

I did my front for now till I have headliner put in.

I used coax catv wire for that but I was talking about the shiney stuff that outline the side windows like the chrome/aluminum trim thats on the outside window roll up squgiee(how do you spell that?). the vertical piece thats on the pilar between the window rollup and rear wing window and the one thats horizontal on the bottom edge of the rear wing windows
