do some tiis have snouts on front clip?(nt)

But they are there ONLY because the car had some damage to the front clip and it was replaced or the car is a conversion, or a previous owner used a non-tii shell as a donor to restore an otherwise destroyed tii. You would be able to tell which of the above occurred based on the VIN stamped in the engine compartment above the wheel well. A tii VIN indicates the clip was replaced.

I asked this question to the guru himself, Bob Murphy. He asked some people he new in Germany that would be privy to information of that type and he said that no tii's came out of the factory with the snorkel.
