What gap to run with upgraded ignition?

I don't have a huge upgrade but I am running a bosch RED COIL (pertronics instead of points). I am thinking that the larger voltage should alow me to run a wider than stock spark plug gap. I think I guessed at the last change but tried the stock spec. this time and the car seems harder to start. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Try that and go from there. If it runs ok, then you can gap it out a little more, till it starts to miss a little then close the gap a little, but you prob won't get much farther than .030 as Ratt said.
