300 degree cam and double springs, etc. Bottom-end on my car seems fine. Will I have to get it machined? Do I need new bearings in the bottom end? I am definitly going to go with TWM EFI set-up and am going to try direct fire distributorless ignition. I'm assuming new bearings will be in order for the bottom end. I guess that will mean pulling the whole engine? If so, should I go ahead and get everything balanced? Any suggestions appreciated.

you should give the whole engine and tranny to your builder for consistency and balance issues. sounds like you are creating a cool set -up with power. I would have one shop do the whole thing. Piece-meal top end/bottom end. flywheel, from different builders may result in incompatability issues and al will point at the other guy for the problem( i know about this first hand). east coast has several great shops. Central usa i hear has good shops. West coast has lots of great shops. Car can be shipped anywhere.probably as chealpy as shipping a drive train/engine and then having to swap what you receive. That is my advice, however useless it probably is, to end up with a great final result.

your bottom end. It's likely your new head will

quickly send your bottom end over the edge

(granted they were both rebuilt/original a while

ago). I used a place a while ago that I was happy

w/, I think it was Eagle automotive.
