I am constantly amazed at what gets on to TV. When my wife was all gaga over "The Bachelor" I said jokingly, that they should make sure they do alternative versions. Year and a half later they have "Boy meets boy".

For the rest of us, how about a Reality/Drama series: "Vintage Car Restoration" Follow car nut Bob as he searches out a rust bucket to restore. See the effect this Obsession has on his family and life. Parts NLA, hours on webgroups, high priced eBay finds. Think this idea is far fetched? Just tune in HGTV for a few hours.(wife watching, not me)
