tii gask tank hookup?

PS, i know the rubber from the stainless to the tank sorta defeats the purpose.. but $$$ is a big factor here unfortunatly.

Does anyone have a close up of the top of a tii gas tank? How was it hooked up from factory? I assume hard metal line welded to the tank... then was it just high pressure hose to the hard line going to the engine bay?

i'm trying to figure out a way to connect my stainless steel fuel *feed* to my tank. (currently don't have a tii tank). i'm thinking cheapeast/easiest is to just use a short piece of high pressure rubber from my AN stuff to the pickup (pickup/sender in this case). I can get a shop to weld/braze a AN fitting on my carb tank, but then i have to pay to get it steamed first (otherwise they won't touch it), and figure out a fuel pickup system. By that point I may as well just buy a Tii tank.

But I don't have the cash for a Tii tank and filler hose at this point

Sorry it's not a clear picture, but I did have one on file of my car before I started a bunch of work on the trunk.

The newer black gas line goes to the fuel pump. The other line is the return line from the back of the Kugelfisher.
