I purchased a set of center caps for e30 basket weave wheels.  They are black, and need to paint silver to match my rims.  Does anyone know how to take apart the pieces?  I want to just spray paint the metal ring.  I removed the circle spring clip, but it looks like the hub is pressed fit together and doesn't facilitate dis-assembly.  Thanks in advance for any help.  Did an search and couldn't find any postings.

Twist to the "lock" position then push em out? I always paint mine in one piece...
