This just received from American Collectors Insurance Company:

If you’re the proud owner of a brown car, we encourage you to show it off and post it on our American Collectors Facebook page. If you’re still undecided on the brilliance of brown, we leave you with a link to an image of a car once owned by the master of cool himself, Steve McQueen. It’s a 1963 Ferrari Lusso…arguably the apogee of brown.

It will be interesting to see if others post their brilliant 2002's on their collection of rides in a color often overlooked.
