Just a little FYI: I recall there were TWO different spline sizes on the 5 and 6 (and 7?) series cars during the 80s. I believe 10/85 was the changeover date. Fine vs coarse splines perhaps...maybe diameter, I can't remember exactly the difference.

Paul, that is possible. This came out of a 85 635csi. I used the momo wheel on the 2002 and the adapter is here.
