I know this has been talked about plenty, but I could find anything in the search that helped. I now have to get new rear shocks, and I've been wanting to upgrade them anyway so I guess now's the time. I won't be racing the car or anything, street use. I do live on a long dirt road so they do get their use, I also have a nice long twisty road before the dirt road, and that can be fun too. I also plan on lowering the car some, 1" or so. I don't expect the smoothest ride possible, but a decent one that won't kill me each time I drive it. So what do some of you have like this, what are the advantages to one or the other? Thanks everyone.

I have no idea how the sports feel but I love my HDs. I asked the same question here a while back and there was a consensus from everyone that if you don't race/autocross, sports are overkill.

They produce a much harsher/bumpy ride and are not ideal for everyday driving. I'm sure many guys use them for race and everyday but I did not feel like driving with bleeding kidneys.

There are a number of options for lowering springs. The STs are pretty much stock height. Eibach and H&Rs both drop the car considerably more - 1.5 to 2.5 inches.

I'll have moreinfo on my site next week about the suspension overhaul on my 2002. Feel free to check that out next week.
