Bullit car spotting

During the intro. Parked 3-4 parking spots down from the '68-'69 white el camino. Jag?

Must be one of Steve McQueen's cars for sure.

Anyone know what it is?

Then it looks like he goes home from the morgue and parks his '68 fastback right behind a 2002. Am I seeing things?

I watched the movie the other day, missed the intro...but earlier in the day they had an hour on Steve McQueen Master of Cool or something to that effect. I know that he had a D-type Jag, and they had a still photo or two in the special. The special was well done; my favorite part was talking to his stunt doubles about Bullitt and the bike scene in the Great Escape. I always thought he did the jump...stunt guy did it in one take. Same guy that laid down the bike in Bullitt. McQueen did do alot of the San Fran driving, but not all. Also parts about Lemans, poking Ali McGraw, etc..Fun stuff all. Dave V. in NC
