I’m fairly certain, based on the square taillight nosepiece, rear valance, bumpers, and relay rack on the left inner fender, that this is a square taillight car. The location of the holder for the windshield washer reservoir, above the brake booster, further narrows it to a 1975 or 1976 model.
 

VIN 2762566, however, under which it is listed, is a 1972 U.S.-spec tii, manufactured in August 1972 (276xxxx cars are 1972 and 1973 U.S.-spec tii’s). So I’d conclude that we have this car listed under the wrong VIN.

I suspect this is (was!) 2782566. A Sahara tii that was running around in CA in 2003.

Although it appears it had a 32/36 carb, the original tii filter brackets can be seen.

I am not seeing the airbox brackets on the left inner fender or a firewall notch. But I’m clearly seeing a bracket for the windshield washer reservoir mounted on top of the brake booster: strictly a 1975-76 feature. The charcoal canister is also in the 1975-76 position, just aft of the battery. And... the coil is also in the 1975-76 position, on the right inner fender, near the radiator support.

Well, if your going to make the pics bigger, then, I stand corrected Steve.

Guess I assumed they stated 2762566 in error for 2782566. It did have a tii clock?

I have a feeling the 'VIN' is actually the Lot #.....000-27625660
