  1. The tank will fit in my friends round tail 73 non Tii but not my 76.
  2. @stone02 I'll get you some before and after pictures tomorrow. I'm actually using the fiberglass bumper from IE. I'll be making some custom brackets to hold the bumper to the body. I will not be using the 5mpg bumber slots. The tank is from a 74 Tii. I didn't think it would be a problem but, its better to check first cut last.
  3. I purchased a 1974 Tii engine along with all accessories. Has anyone installed the Tii tank in a 1976 model year? The 5mph bumper reinforcement is in the way. I’m not using the factory bumpers so, is there going to be a structural issue if I cut the reinforcement so the tank will fit?
  4. @RoccoGilroy Thanks for the headups on the lights, I grabbed the last 2 pair in the Atlanta yesterday at a local Toyota dealership for $30.15ea. The lights are now on a 6 month nationwide backorder. The parts manager said people have been coming in and buying all that they had. Heck, the relays alone are worth $50.00. Anyway, got them installed on my project car last night. IMG_3781.HEIC
  5. Thanks for the answers guys. I’ll start by trying to find one from another vehicle that fits. Maybe I’ll get lucky. Saul at Maximillian only has the side I don’t need. Kinda pricy also.
  6. I've searched the forum and the internet for the cog(not sure if that is the corrcet nomenclature) on top of the wiprt pivot arm. DOes anyone know where to source this item. Any help would be appreciated.
  7. I just finished the nose replacement. I used the MVP 73-76 nose panel. Feel free to cut away.
  8. @zambo I ordered the fan awhile back. I just getting ready to repair the heater box and I discovered the motor/fan being completely different.
  9. @James LarayThanks for the information. I’m ordering the parts tonight.
  10. Funny that everyone is selling the wrong thing. I think the motors are the same. I’m going to check this weekend.
  11. @bergie33 PartsGeek is selling the same motor/fan that I purchased. Just a moment... WWW.PARTSGEEK.COM @mikeself I'll be PM'ing you. I have the heaterbox ready to disassemble looks relatively easy, just teadious.
  12. So I ordered the heater box foam and fan/motor replacement. The fan/motor replacment part number is the item below from URO. Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge How am I supposed to get that inside this? I've searched the forum and the web and I am not able to determine what to do with the new fan/motor. I guess I'll try taking the motor off of the new fan and trying to attach the old fan to it. Any Suggestions would be appreciated.
  13. @Dudeland a respirator would have been a good choice. I have one now.
  14. @JQ02 I was only successful getting the residue off with Xylene. Not sure if the citrus products will work.
  15. @66Vette I used the smooth flexible cutting tool. I did not need any heat. I did the front floor boards with a scraper and xylene and just about killed the last few brain cells also. Awfully hungry after that. Haven’t felt that stoned since high school.
  16. Passenger floor is next. Thanks for the suggestion on the speaker holes.
  17. 1st post that I am making, I've been reading a lot of the posts. Great information on this Forum. Try the Miluawkee Multi Tool with flexible scraper for removing tar paper, way better than Xylene. This took 30min and no fumes.
