  1. Where's the database that matches vin to engine?
  2. So maybe someone swapped heads on my 76
  3. Thanks guys. I couldn't remember. So I need to put this up for sale as it's not compatible with my engine. Now to figure out value.
  4. My 76 has an E12 head but came with a E21 2.0 as a spare. It's currently running a Weber 32/36, otherwise stock, as far as I know. Which head is better or what benefits do they each have? TIA!
  5. Thanks. How is shipping? And I'm still unsure what the other small pieces are in the kit
  6. I can't find W & N as a parts supplier
  7. Does it sit between the tank and 1/4 panel or tank and bumper?
  8. In one of the pics from the previous forum post/thread, I noticed a boxed reinforcement piece. Is that normally part of this area?
  9. The strength iss is one of my concerns. Also, does it spot weld to the outer fender?
  10. What are the 4 small pieces and the longer one to the left?
  11. Trying to figure out how to repair the trunk floor on the tank side. It needs new metal at the base of the shock tower and along the area between the tank and the outer fender. It's rusted enough that, at best, all I can do is create flat steel, but I know there are lips and so on, there. Any and all help greatly appreciated.
  12. FWIW, race cars run metal if it is run in the cockpit. Plastic is prohibited. I prefer metal on the outside but shielded in some fashion, and as far from ant heat source as possible.
  13. I like that. I may run a plain new one. My current cables are really tired
  14. Is this the center material for a tan interior on later 02s?
  15. It appears Pelican Parts have aftermarket straps, are these doable or OE only?
  16. Does anyone have Fische and part numbers for both the positive and negative cables. Also, are there other large gauge wires I should replace at the same time. These are shot. Does it have an engine to body ground independent of other wires/straps?
  17. I'd consider trading for an open car trailer, cool bits for my other 76, GTV6 parts, and maybe other stuff.
  18. Rebuilt was an assumption. I've found that a lit of new bits are rebuilt. Just mostly new stuff but with an original body. Like a m/c with new seals, rod, piston and so on, but relined body. Built to as new specs. Hell. We had a "new" hot water heater installed a couple of years ago, but the plumber admitted there were probably some used bits in it due to covid shortage issues
  19. It has corrosion on the outside. I'm going through the system because a line blew and want to be sure the rest is 100%. I'm replacing all the hard and sof lines and slave cylinders and taking a close look at the calipers to see the seals, bore and bleeder.
  20. I haven torn it down to see if there is any pitting or scoring
