  1. If you never intend to use those parts for maintenance or restore the car back to original, why keep them? I would take them to the next swap meet and sell them to a fellow ‘02er who could use them. This group tends to appreciate and value performance upgrades. If you sell the car, the buyer will not likely be looking for an original non-tii project.

  2. Just some subtle personal choices… NK steering wheel, chrome trim rings on gauges, clock and roundel (from an old gear shift knob) added to the right side of the dash above the glove box for some interest to an otherwise blank slate. The green fog lamp button is functional (not a faux button). It goes with the overall appearance of the car which appears stock, but all the mods (side draft DCOE, headers, cams, etc., are under the hood).

  3. My Alfa mechanic used to toss out the factory Romablok hose clamps because they were cheap POS's and replaced them with more durable SS euro style worm clamps. Used Romabloks are now worth their weight in gold, with used, restorable clamps selling from $10-30 each or higher depending upon size and rarity.

  4. Simple supply and demand economics at play… dinosaurs used to roam the earth and their bones were free for Fred Flintstone to build his peddle car once he killed it. Restoring that car with fossilized bones would now cost gazillions.

  6. I’ve installed one and it works just the same as the one on my Alfa GTV. I keep the bottle ~1/3 full when cold. When the engine warms up, hot coolant overflows into the bottle from the bottom; when the engine cools off, it draws it back into the radiator. There is no empty head space at the top of the radiator as there would have to be without the bottle.

I can check for coolant lose by just looking at the bottle for a change in level when cold (~1/3 full) or hot (~2/3 full).
