Go to kooglewerks dot com. There are some very cool items there. All the prices you'll need.

I think Forrest is being polite as this is not the for sale section.

I love the front brace. A real piece of art! Figuring out what I can sell (beside my 02) to get the 5 bills together.

thank you very much for the kind words (And doing the explaining for me!) the rear brace/tray price is not yet set, as we’re still crunching the numbers and figuring out the options to offer...but a lot of people are asking, so it’s going to happen soon!

That's nice.  Do you have a photo of it installed?  I would probably get it installed and situated with the sheet metal screws, and then finish it with a set of captive head studs, down through the pedal/floor and put a nut on the underside. For that clean look.

That would definitely look stealth! (& easy access to hardware from under floor pan) I do hate sheet metal screws shot through the floor and hanging down asking to rust... or poke ya when the car's on the lift!

  3. We have been very busy the last couple months (beside the holidays and some other side-tracked projects) developing a few new parts.

I like the look of exposed velocity stacks as much as the next guy, but lets face it: Clean air is highly underrated... & when you've spent thousands of dollars on a motor.. (and do not have a "race team budget" to afford a refresh every season) you cannot afford to put a piece of mesh over an open stack. dust and dirt are everywhere, just take a wide line and drop a wheel off the pavement.

Enter the "cast aluminum DCOE velocity elbow air filter adapter" (a lot to swallow, I know!) This is similar (and a direct replacement) to the part supplied by Alpina for the A3 and other (E9 6 cyl) airboxes.

It is Designed for ample flow to supply a 48mm side draft carburetor (weber, mikuni, solex, dellorto, etc.) and available in sizes cut to "port match" a 40, 42, 44, 45, & 48mm carb.  This part will work on virtually ANY side draft equipped vehicle that has limited filter clearance.

the first batch of these are finished & almost ready to list on the website.... followed by a couple different filter housing options I am working on right now, to compliment them. they will also retrofit to existing ITG, UNI, K&N and other filters with minimal effort.

This I can get behind.  I'm in for a set if I can find a pair of brackets for the air box itself...

Looks like your current setup has the airbox bracket supported by/tied into the strut tower brace baseplate? that's kinda a slick way to go (if it supports it well enough) ...as the brackets I've made are dimensionally identical to OE tii, but require drilling into the inner fender to install (or as OE, they can be welded & painted)

    Rear battery holder??

I've got a plan to "double back" on that project... after making a couple in the prototype stage, it became apparent that I'd have to simplify the design and/or charge more... I'd like to keep it at an accessible price point... so I've just got to get more efficient with making them!

Wow love them all - going to have to check with website for the double din, fog light mounts and gauge. Curious if there is enough room to remount the VIN plate on that new piece.

Look forward to seeing more in the future

Yes, there definitely is room for the VIN plate to be relocated... I just knew not everyone would want to swap it over, so I did not design it with holes or a recess... but it's an easy drill/rivet install!

  7. Realized I hadn't updated this post (although I have updated my website) and since, lots of new parts have rolled out.

the rear shock tower brace/battery/storage mount is a difficult part to produce cost effectively, and after making a few of them I am still battling either a re-design/simplify, or just go 'all in" and make all the fixtures and parts to do a bigger batch... either way.. the fuel filler systems are up and running, we've done quite a bit of testing and they work great... & look like this:

(no drilling/cutting, and the outside of the car still looks stock)

Really nice.  I want to come up and check your shop out at some point, lookd like you have a great set up.  If you can make the bandwidth your the exact right person to make the 100L alpina fuel tank for me.

If your down in the Bay Area (Peninsula, drop me a line and come have a look at my car).

we will just have to keep in touch, I'd love to help bring that piece of history back to life! it deserves it!

Ok, I have the Clardy AC set that you posted.  What size speakers are those just to confirm what I have will fit.

    Thanks!

    Justin

I use a 5-1/4" coaxial speaker (but a set of separates could be used with a flush tweeter cut in somewhere... all 5-1/4" speakers should work....it's the grills you may fight with. some manufacturers have big bulky grills that will not seat into the recess.

Nice kit, can you send to me the link to the item?  Is it possible to get the kit without the speakers? I already have a pair to use.

Do you have the kit with AC capability?

    Regards,

I have installed them in a car with A/C... but depending on what style/console you have... may need to trim the plastic.. here is a pic of them in an A/C equipped car:

Like the battery tray - that in production now, didn't see it on your website

I've been on the fence about releasing it as a production part...really labor intensive to make and will require more jig/fixture making to be a reliable/repeatable product... the cost might be prohibitive... so the jury is still out on that one

What are you asking for the skid plate and how difficult is it to install?  Very interested.

should be around 300$, consisting of a steel brace/mount and aluminum (.120 5052) pan. will require drilling four m6 holes at lower edge nose panel seam. simple 'do it yourself' on jackstands in the driveway.
