  1. Well looks like I'm reinforcing my engine mount! Funny thing is that totally overshadows my original question (I'll just use the mount I have). That's why I love forums... ask a question and end up down a whole different road. I did consider beefing up the engine mount prior to powder coating, but just kind of let it go not realizing how often they actually crack. Too bad I'll have to mess up the finish... oh well.

This should be a fun weekend though since I'll try to fabricate one myself. The IE one looks nice, but after all of your input I think I'll weld to the flange and box it.

    Thanks for the help everyone!

  4. After a long day of working on the car I became fatigued and stupid, which led me to breaking the top cover of my steering box. Anyone have an extra?

Also, I'm searching for the firewall insulation pad. It has been on back order for a while now and it's holding up my build.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

  5. Hello!

I have this car for sale for parts or an extreme project. The car was in a front end collision. Many parts have already been removed, but there's still plenty left. The metal is pretty straight minus the front end obviously. $1100obo. Located in Tustin, ca 92780. Bring a tow truck or trailer as the car will be on dollies.

Can't help you on the brand, but they're definitely from Japan if that helps. The JWL and VIA marks are government approval stamps, kind of like TÜV for Germany. I dig the rims though. They have an old school look but you'll be able to run a wider variety of modern rubber on them. Offset is probably flares-only (though being only a 6" rim you might get away with it on a stock car with some camber).

Good call. I did look up those symbols and came to the same conclusion. I actually picked these up from an '02 with coil overs and camber plates up front and adjustable springs in back. They seem to fit pretty well.

I'm just trying to figure out if they are worth keeping, as I may put them on my e30. I just can't find anything on the actual manufacturer.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
