I PM’d you. Thanks!

I got out my calipers. Hope this helps.
1. The outside diameter of the front of the cap at its widest part is 55mm. This is the part visible when looking at the cap from the street.
2. The back of the cap at it widest part is slightly more than 44mm. This is a lip that runs the circumference of the back of the cap and, once pressed into the center hole of the wheel, is “trapped” into place for security.
3. The “barrel” at the back of the cap (after the lip) is 43mm. The circumference of the barrel is such that it likely does not make contact with the center hole of the wheels. Instead, it is the lip described in 2 above that creates an interference fit. The barrel and lip have six slots in them to create tabs so that the barrel and lip compress as the cap is pressed into the center hole.

Hey Jim — I will need to check to be certain. Later tonight. Of course they fit the CD32s perfectly. Nice tight fit and best tapped out from behind to avoid pry marks. Please stand by. Thanks

Price: $200Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Description:Nice Cromodora center caps. Re-pops in silver metal are available elsewhere at a slightly better price. Note that one of the caps has a little “o” in the “M” of CROMODORA. In addition, all of some slight scratching of the surface. The lower left cap in the image is slightly cloudier than the others due to this. But it is all quite plainly visible in the photos. Thanks for looking! Price is $200 plus shipping.
Regards, John

He has resumed prolific posting on Instagram so hopefully that means production is in full swing. Good luck all.

He’s the only person I know who sorts parts into 25 degrees of perfection.

For now I use the pod as a base to mount my iPhone for Waze, Spotify, etc. Works great.

Maybe afraid of this. “Hold my beer….”

All 4 wheels present and accounted for. In the correct size. All expertly polished. Photos look exactly like above except there are four wheels (and the one bolt sitting proud in the above photo has been fully fastened). Will post photos when installed. And will post an epilogue to the story. Thanks for watching.

Update. My wheels are to be sent out tonight or tomorrow, with photos and tracking number. I am starting to think the log jam has broken and that we all will receive our wheels. Will update on Monday/Tuesday. Thanks to all for looking/watching.

I like it but… In my experience items tend to flash rust again pretty quickly if not treated after Evapo is applied.

When you sell on bring a trailer I believe they write the description for you is that correct? I feel like it could be written better but where the description is lacking I think the pictures make up for it.
Like this part :
"This example was factory finished in Fjord Blue and is said to have been glass-bead blasted, epoxy primed, and repainted in two stages. "
To me that says the current seller doesn't know for sure what the repainting process was, because of the "is said to have been"
That part is the lawyers. If BAT says it has been done and it has not, they are afraid of being part of a misrepresentation claim. Just my take. The ads have been formulaic forever. In the early days it was sort of interesting but now has become trite, in my view. Like saying:
“The owner’s handbook appears in rare Arial alternating upper and lower cases, with cautions said to have been emphasized in original, and claimed to have been applied via India ink riding over bent A4 sheet stock, driven through an Epsom jet printer.”
But the formula is said to be a winning one.

Yes the other FAQer did receive his wheels. He was away on vacation when they arrived so the delay in relaying information that got posted here by me was partly due to that. I received a photo yesterday of powder coated centers so I remain hopeful and will update.

Have had some recent interaction that causes me to think things are probably going to work out but I am not anywhere near sure yet. One other FAQer supposedly has had his wheels shipped out. Frank asked me on Monday for details to complete a shipping pickup so I am waiting a bit more. Now the story has gotten into such a narrow space that whether it is true or not will be easily determinable. Will update the post. Still collecting information on the seller names/addresses/business accounts/etc.

This makes me sick. But I am glad that it was not worse and hope the best for your health. Two things that I did to hopefully reduce the chances of being rear-ended are: (1) replaced my tail and brake lights with LEDs. They really are much, much brighter than new original lights. I bought mine from a company that seems not to offer them any more but I think someone on the faq makes them or at least has written a blog on how to make them yourself (2) Installed a high center brake light in the rear window. It also is LED and quite bright. True, neither is original but if it saves me from a hit then it is worth it.
