I just did this and it was A LOT easier with another person helping while you are under the car. The trick I had was not stripping the hex bolts that hold the axles to the diff...What i did to solve that issue was have one person on a pair of vice grips and one person on a hex wrench (socket type) and turn at the same time... they should go easy...also use lots of pblast...WORKS AMAZINGLY AND GOES FAST...as for the drive shaft bolts..I def had to use a breaker bar. I am in the process of ordering new calipers and I am wondering if I should purchase the 4 piston calipers or the 2 piston ones? Do they both fit with no modifications? Thanks Ryan

She needs a lot of work but this is where I am at. Waiting for my header, downpipe, Right side caliper, and suspension... Once I get that I will be able to drive her a little bit b4 the snow hits.

I don't know how much cheaper... So far I talked to blunt about a manifold from a Tii that is going to cost me 346.00 and a downpipe for 160.00 .... So cheap isn't the word.

Hello 02faq, I was wondering if anyone had an Ideal less costly way to go about purchasing a set of shocks and springs for my 02. I have major saggage in the back..I want to say that is a sign of bad springs... I do like the aggressive look and I'd like to have less body roll as well... Btw as I state in the beginning I don't want to spend a fortune.. So even if you have something used... Or have experiences with a really good suspension please write me back! Thanks a lot guys! Ryan

Folks I am wondering where the best place to find an exhaust for my 74 02 (header back) ..Should I just have something welded up at the local Muffler shop? or should I order something that is stock? Also I don't want to spend a fortune...however I am sure someone will write back... Why have the car if you don't plan on spending a fortune.... Thanks for all the help! I already LOVE this site. I will have to look in my manual but I don't know where to check the steering fluid... I just got this car and I am starting to do a few things to it.. Tonight i will lift her off the ground and see what I am working with. I think the tires could even be a little low. Thanks for the help!

Do I need to rebuild my steering box? For some reason my steering is pretty difficult... I am a tall linky kid..however I know what a car without power steering feels like... It's really hard to steer this bad boy. any help will do Thanks!

Everything went great!! Wasn't a hard project at all... Bonus though..I found out the rear diff I put in was a limited slip. So I had some fun after the swap.

I am attempting a rear diff install... Just a stock rear diff in my 74... Thanks to JohnV i have the user manual.... Wish me luck
